Are you ready to find the perfect geeky umbrella?
I don’t know it is the same in you country, but here in the Netherlands it’s like Link plays his song of storms every day! The moment I wake up the sound of rain drops hitting the roof has me already pissed off. Why? Because the second I step out of the door I’m looking like a drowned kitten. No. Not the cute kind. Imagine the eyeliner running over my face. So more of a demonic drowned creature of the night. I think you get the point. It’s not a pretty sight. But that, my dear friends, is about to change! Because on this rainy day I have decided to look at some geeky umbrellas.
So here I go. I’ve made a bowl of cereal and put on World of Warcraft ‘The ultimate Journey’ (A relaxing music compilation) on YouTube and start my Google search for the perfect umbrella. And boy, have I found some amazing ones. I still haven’t decided which one to order, so let me know which one is your favourite geeky umbrella in the comments to help a girl out!
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild umbrella
Since the rain reminded me of Link and his Song of Storms I started my search looking for a Zelda umbrella. I didn’t really have a color or design in mind. But I was excited when I found this simple, yet cute Breath of the Wild umbrella for 14.22 euro. The black design with blue Sheikah emblems really caught my eye. I can totally see myself walking down the street with this bad boy.
Resident Evil – Red and White Logo umbrella
One does not mention geeky umbrella’s without Resident Evil coming to mind. Exactly, I am talking about the evil Umbrella Corporation with the red and white logo. For 19.99 euro you have an iconic Resident Evil umbrella that will be recognized. I mean… how perfect is that?
World of Warcraft umbrellas
Of course I wanted to see if World of Warcraft was offering any umbrellas. Imagine me on my real life quest (to go to work) in the rain. Having this item in my inventory would make this daily quest a lot more bearable. And yes, this girl would have to go for the ‘FOR THE HORDE’ umbrella for 25.12 euro. Not a fan of the Horde? Don’t worry. There is also an Alliance umbrella.
I Solemnly Swear Harry Potter Umbrella
One of my other loves in life is Harry Potter. I can’t help it. Whenever I see something Harry Potter related I just have to buy it. There are so many cool Potter themed umbrellas out there. I found a black one with a golden Marauder’s map on it for 24.99 euro’s. My heart really started beating faster for this I Solemnly Swear umbrella.
Star Wars Light-up Lightsaber umbrella
Last, but definitely not least is this Lightsaber umbrella. With a price of 75,33 euro it was the most expensive one on my list. And if before today anyone would have asked if I would afford spending this much money on an umbrella, I would have started laughing in their face. But now I am slowly starting to change my mind. I mean, come on! This umbrella is insane! It features a LED hilt, flash light in the base. And that’s not even all of it. See, the inside shows a battle scene that glows and lights up because it’s made with luminous paint. Imagine walking on the streets on a rainy night with this baby! Oh, be still my heart! Unfortunately this one is sold out but we’ve found a cheaper dupe.
