It’s autumn again and for GGG that means that we are heading to ‘de Jaarbeurs’. A well-known event building in Utrecht where gamers gather every year to visit gaming events. Somehow they manage to always organize these events around this time of year. But this year was special. It was the very first-time Gameforce was being held in Utrecht, or even in the Netherlands. So we were excited to check it out! During our visit, a small stall called La Fem Art immediately caught our eye. Femke, the digital designer behind the stand, who is also an illustrator and fantasy nerd was selling her fantastic art! We were all in love with her beautiful prints and stickers, all about strong female characters and with a charming vintage style. We couldn’t leave empty-handed and spend some of our gold on some must-have stickers for our journals.
DIY

While typing this article the beautiful spring weather has turned into rainy weather and that made me completely in the mood for a quick and easy DIY project. After poking around in my ‘craft closet’, my eye fell on a box that I had received for Christmas: the Super Mario Bros. build a level mug where you can design your own level. Let’s-a Go!
‘DIY Pokémon necklaces’ Gotta make them all!
Many of you walk hours on end just to catch every Pokémon out there. And now you can do this in style. By making homemade Pokémon necklaces! And I can help you make them. See, I often visit flea markets and second-hand stores looking for fun stuff for my game collection. And while I was out and about, I got the idea to start looking for small Pokémon that I could then turn into my very own Pokémon necklace. Of course you can also make bracelets, earrings, rings or keychains and instead of Pokémon you can use any small figurine. But for me it’s Pokémon all the way!
