Hi! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Erika aka Fruitdr0p, I’m 27 years old and live in the northern part of Sweden with my fiancé! I work fulltime with drillcores on ALS Scandinavia. In my spare time I really love to travel, go fishing, watch series and driving a snowmobile. When I was about 8-9 years old I got into games and my best friend just got Diablo II so we played it for so many months then we played a lot of Heroes III. It was like the best time of my life!

Some people collect stamps and I love everything about researching and finding unique and unusual baby names. Hey, don’t judge… Lucky for you I’m willing to share my research! In this Best baby names series I will look into different names from games, geeky series, comics, or movies.
What seemed so far away is finally almost here … the last season of Game of Thrones! I have enjoyed this series every single year. I think my favourite scene from the show remains the moment when upon their return, the Starks find a dead stag, the sigil of House Baratheon. A bit farther away they find a dead dire wolf and her surviving puppies. The dire wolf has part of the stag’s rack in its belly. Knowing that the dire wolf is the sigil of the Stark family and there are as many puppies as there are Stark children (even an albino runt for Jon), they take the puppies in as companions. Obviously foreshadowing what’s to come.
I’m one of those people that loves Christmas. Sitting in your home with little fairy lights and candles, a warm mug of hot chocolate milk with a snugly onesie on while it’s cold outside. Buying the most awesome presents for friends and family and see the smiles on their faces when it’s boxing day. And of course, don’t forget all the good food and tasty Christmas treats. And it doesn’t stop there, nope, even my favourite games are bringing Christmas spirit into my world.
Are you ready to find the perfect umbrella?
I don’t know it is the same in you country, but here in the Netherlands it’s like Link plays his song of storms every day! The moment I wake up the sound of rain drops hitting the roof has me already pissed off. Why? Because the second I step out of the door I’m looking like a drowned kitten. No. Not the cute kind. Imagine the eyeliner running over my face. So more of a demonic drowned creature of the night. I think you get the point. It’s not a pretty sight. But that, my dear friends, is about to change! Because on this rainy day I have decided to look at some geeky umbrellas.
So here I go. I’ve made a bowl of cereal and put on World of Warcraft ‘The ultimate Journey’ (A relaxing music compilation) on YouTube and start my Google search for the perfect umbrella. And boy, have I found some amazing ones. I still haven’t decided which one to order, so let me know which one is your favourite in the comments to help a girl out!
Sucker for survival games
So I’m a sucker for survival games! Maybe it’s just satisfying for my primal side or maybe it’s the thrill of having danger lurking around each corner. All I know is that I just love to play this genre of games. My favourite aspect about these games is the fact that you’re playing together to build an awesome base and trying survive every threat that crosses your path. Personally I’m a real gatherer. I’m always out in the unknown lands to get the materials our group needs to build and craft. I rather leave the actual building or shooting enemies up to other people from my group. I’d just simply suck when it comes to those kind of things. Right now there is a handful of games I love to play with my friends. In this blog you can read about my love for Ark: Survival Evolved, a game that everybody NEEDS to play!

The struggle is real… But not anymore!
Girl Gamer Galaxy has teamed up with Dirtees by creating a ‘Girl Gamer Galaxy’s geeky t-shirts selection’. Why? Because we geeky girls all know the struggle. We finally find that awesome t-shirt for our fandom and then it turns out it is only available for men. Annoying! We girls do get creative though. For example we buy a smaller size, roll up the sleeves or even grab some scissors and start cutting up our new favourite male shirt to make it look more fashionable. Luckily we don’t need to worry about not finding geeky shirt specially made for women anymore. Because Girl Gamer Galaxy picked an awesome selection of t-shirts for women that is available at Dirtees. We have got your back!
Meet Diana owner of DumeeGamer.com
Hello fellow Girl Gamers,
My name is Diana Adams-Dumee and I’m the owner and founder of game website DumeeGamer.com and also of the brand new company Sparkly Unicorn.
I’m a thirty-something lady and to be honest almost a fourty-something lady. My first game console was the CBS ColecoVision (back in the eighties) After that the NES entered my family home. It was during those years I lost my heart to video games. Legend of Zelda was my all time favorite and I still play it nowadays. I have to admit after the PS1 (Resident Evil!!) I didn’t play that much video games anymore. For about ten years I was more interested in spending time with my friends and going out. And I still do :). But seven years ago when the Wii and PS3 hit the market, I was wondering what the developers had to offer nowadays. I started with the God of War and Uncharted series and never laid down the controller anymore.
Time to slay some titan’s in Mikasa Ackerman style
In this wardrobe wishes series we already had two sets inspired by powerfull women Sansa Stark and Lighting. Now it’s time to take the toughness to the next level with our favorite titan slayer Mikasa Ackerman. She might just look like the girl next door, but this is where you are wrong! She is a badass and has earned the respect of her peers. We love her because she knows no fear and faces some gruesome titans. Yet she always does this in style, wearing her iconic red scarf in every battle she encounters.
