We nerdy girls aren’t some sort of cave women. No, we also like to feel feminine at times. We also enjoy a nice hair-do and a little bit of make-up. But like with everything else in life, you will only do it if it suits your lifestyle. Shirocosmetics understands us ladies very well and has different make-up lines inspired by everything that our nerdy souls might crave. Time to talk about some nerdy make-up.

Gaming meets fashion
Let’s get started with one of the most memorable game characters in the fashion world! At the start of 2016 newspaper headlines read that a video game character accomplished what many young girls dream off in real life. Lightning, one of Tetsuya Nomura’s designs for the game Final Fantasy, was given a high-fashion makeover in the beginning of 2016.
For her very first modelling assignment, entering the Louis Vuitton galaxy and blurring the boundaries between reality and make-belief. So we ask you: With Lightning’s athletic physique, bad ass personality and graceful features… What other game character is better to kick-off a gaming inspired fashion series with? Her style in the Louis Vuitton campaign could be described as trendy and feminine. So take a look all the items we gathered below. Fabulous, darling. And don’t forget to look at all the other inspiring looks!
Fill your belly at The Inn at the Crossroads
For the main course of your Christmas dinner you need something really special to surprise your hungry guests. We didn’t have to think long about this one since Blizzard recently published the official World of Warcraft cookbook. A book written by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel. Maybe that name rings a bell. Because she is the owner of The Inn at the Crossroads. This is the
Minecraft Mushroom stew
After eating the Pumpkin Pasties you are probably stuffed. Time for a light meal in between dishes. It’s pretty cold outside, so something hot for your tummy would be nice. Guess it’s time for some hot soup. To restore our hunger we are going to serve Minecraft Mushroom stew or soup. This seems like a good use for an old-time favorite ingredient: the mushroom!
A surprise from Blizzard Gear
Earlier this week my doorbell rang unexpectedly. The sound of the doorbell is a good reason for my dog Zuko to go frantic. So despite the fact that I had my headset on with the volume turned up, I heard that someone was at the door. A moment of joy emerged when I received the Blizzard box. I knew my boyfriend had a surprise in store for me, but I had no idea that he ordered something from Blizzard Gear.
Harry Potter Pumpkin pasties
It is important that a starter is not too heavy on the stomach and that it stirs the appetite. Like our previous Game of Thrones recipe Christmas Dinner 1: Night’s Watch Hot Mulled Wine we are going to use cinnamon. But this time we are going to mix it up with pumpkin. The tasty appetizer that is served during our geeky food fest is called ‘Harry Potter Pumpkin pasties’. Here is some Harry Potter knowledge for you. Pumpkin pasties are a wizarding food sold by the Honeydukes Express on the Hogwarts Express.
Hi Eva, can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Hi everyone, I’m Eva, also known as nonamed92 on Twitch. I’m 25 years old and at the moment a 2nd year ICT Business student. In my spare time I like to play a lot of different games and stream them on my Twitch channel. I started gaming when I was about 9 years old, because at that time the Zelda and Pokémon series were a huge hype at school.
Night’s Watch Hot Mulled Wine
In this series we are going to put together the ultimate Christmas dinner. Why? So you can dine in style of course. But before we start with some geeky recipes for food we are going to talk about what to drink. In this article specifically we want to underline the importance of a good glass of wine. It is said that wine is very popular amongst the nobility, whereas the smallfolk prefer beer or ale. At the Wall, the brothers of the Night’s Watch drink hot mulled wine, spiced with cloves and nutmeg. In our opinion, the Night’s Watch hot mulled wine is the perfect drink to serve to your guests, nobility or not. So let’s start the evening with a glass that smells like winter.
Meet Nanda, an all-round 2D and 3D artist
Hi there, my name is Nanda van Dijk. I’m an all-round 2D and 3D artist. My specialization is character animation and character creation. I graduated from the School of Art in Utrecht back in 2010 and have built almost 7 years worth of work experience ever since. Now I’m working as a freelancer on various projects in advertising, film and gaming industries. My work can be viewed on my website, on my Facebook page and on Instagram. Go ahead and take a look if you want.
So, my first contact with the game industry was back when I started working for MediaMonks, a global creative production partner specialized in making online branding campaigns. The first game I ever worked on was a game series called ‘House of Anubis’. I did some small modelling work back then for this series. Later on I worked on the Ninja Turtles game called ‘The Sewer Run‘. This time I got to do a lot more. Like animating Mikey, Leo and the shadow ninjas. It was an amazing project and I was happy to be part of it. Even though this project didn’t take long, I was nice to get some experience working on games.

I love to play games with other gamers, so I play with my friends or invite viewers to come and join the game. I am 22 years old and have 2 cats called Ryu and Loki and a boyfriend ^^. At the moment I study to become a pastry baker and when I’m not at school I play games.
