Partners on Valentines
In february 2016 we organized our biggest event yet: Girl Gamer Valentines event. We invited companies, press and of course the girls from our community for a day of gaming, food, drinks and lots of fun!
When the guests arrived they got a warm welcome and a wristband that showed that they are a part of our community. In the front area we had a Nintendo stand with Super Mario Maker and some nice loungechairs. In the back the girls could enjoy some awesome old skool gaming on various arcade machines. The dj was providing us with some sweet R&B sounds while in the other corner girls where playing there favourite pc games on 10 well equiped pc’s. Mouse-Control e-sports was there to give our girls some tips and tricks on how to play the games. Cex joined our party as well and provided us with Xbox ones and Ps4’s with the latest games. For the girls that didn’t want to sit and play we had enough entertainment as well. They could show their moves with Dance central or beat each other with sumo wrestling. Special thanks goes out to Thorworks who provided us with some sweet virtual reality.
Gaming makes you hungry so there was a big buffet to feast on or you could make your own cottoncady. After a day of so much fun you could dress up to take a picture at our photowall and go home with a goodiebag that was made possible by Gamegear, Cex and Nintendo.
This Valentine event was the kick-off of our Gameroom 416 project wich is still in the pilotfase.
