Last year Girl Gamer Galaxy visited Tomofair and told you all about our little shopping haul. This year we visited Tomofair Amsterdam. Tomofair is a Japanese themed indoor market with anime, games, cosplay, manga and more. We always love to share our experiences with you and because a picture is worth a thousand words here’s a short photo-impression of our visit.

On the 17th of December Girl Gamer Galaxy visited Dutch Xmas Con, a popculture event with a ’taste’ of Christmas. During this event we encountered many great cosplayers, visited a whole lot of stands (with some awesome merchandise) and talked to a lot of interesting people. And now we want to share our experience with you (our dear fellow geeks) so here’s a short (photo)impression of our day.
DreamHack Winter 2016 was absolutely fabulous! It was my first international Lan party and I was blown away. Sitting in the bus and travelling 14 hours from the Netherlands to Sweden really paid off. When we finally arrived at Jönköping, at the convention center Elmia, I eagerly looked for my Lan spot with the rest of the gang. If you haven’t slept for a long time you would be happy to have found it too. I was only thinking about gaming, networking, having fun, spending money and watching e-sports.
Once in a while we feel the urge to buy a lot of stuff. Well what better place is there to get your shopping spree on then an indoor Japanese market? Last week we visited Tomofair, one of the biggest indoor Japanse markets of the Netherlands, Tomofair. The organization behing Tomofair is well known for their other events like Tomocon and Tomoparty. All the Tomo-events share the same mission: ‘Let’s make new friends’. All though this time our mission sounded more like: Let’s spend some money!
